February: A Month Devoted to Love
The month of love is here!!
I know February has been shaped into something highly commercialized. Cards, chocolates, expectations… but for me, it has always been something deeper.
I love February because I am, at my core, a lover.
I love to love.
I love expansively…
I love ideas.
I love my family and chosen family.
I love friendships that have evolved over time.
I deeply love my work, the way beauty, intention, and creativity come together to shape the spaces we live in.
February is not about narrowing love into a single expression.
It is about remembering how much of it already lives within us.
It’s about expanding love.
Designing with Love
Love shows up in our homes in subtle, meaningful ways.
In your morning ritual chair drinking your coffee
In the soft light from your favorite lamp at the end of the day.
In the textures, materials, and art that make you feel grounded, inspired, or at ease.
When we design with love, spaces begin to support us differently.
They feel calmer.
More personal.
More aligned with who we are and how we want to live.
An Invitation for the Month
This February, I invite you to think about love through the lens of your space.
What would it look like to design your home in a way that truly supports you?
What would it feel like to surround yourself with pieces, textures, and light that make you feel loved at the end of the day?
Here are three ways to bring more love into your favorite spaces:
Choose pieces that carry meaning.
Art, objects, or furnishings with a story bring warmth no trend can replicate.Layer for the senses, not just the eye.
Soft textures, warm lighting, natural materials, and gentle sound create comfort in the body.
When a space feels good physically, love becomes something you experience.Create one place that invites rest.
A chair by a window.
A bench near your plants.
A bath ritual held with intention.
Designing for rest is an act of self-care woven into daily life.
Closing Thought
February is a reminder that love is woven into the everyday, in how we care for our spaces, and how those spaces care for us in return.
May this month be an invitation to live, design, and dwell with a little more love!
